482. Exceptional silvered and gilt watch stand on
base, Swiss, depicting William Tell the archer with standard bow rather
than his legendary crossbow, on stand that accepts glass dome (now
missing), overall height 7.75 inches. The dome would need internal
dimensions of at least 7.5 inches height, width of 5 inches, and depth
of 3 inches. The shape of the lower globe is in cartouche or stadium
form. The lower section is silver-plated with dog's head at center,
while the upper is gilt. The stand would hold an OF watch of no more
than 44mm diameter and 16mm thickness.

created especially for Watchmaking Schools by Ebauches, SA, Neuchatel,
Switzerland, presented with their compliments." The boxed kit contains
three unused chronograph mvts in special clear plastic containers that
are screwed together, equipped with crown, stems and buttons, without
dials but with hands, and various parts for each that were organized in
front of each, but are now jumbled together. The large central mvt is
Valjoux 19-ligne cal 24 split-seconds chronograph timer only with
constant seconds and minute recorder. On the left is 13.75-ligne
Landeron cal 48, for wrist, and on the right the 14-ligne Venus
version, cal 175.
