spiral tachymeter scale for readings up to three minutes, 38mm x 43mm
to lug tips, nickel alloy body with steel snap-back and bezel case, new
leather strap, original WED dial, 17J, double signed. The outer
telemeter scale is rated approximately for the speed of sound in
kilometers, so one can see the recoil of a gun in the distance, time
the report, and know exactly how many kilometers the gun is away from
one's location, but in this case the value chosen was 0.333 km per
second (instead of 0.3432), so the scale gets increasingly inaccurate
the further the distance.
