Condition Report For Lot# 476 :
Mvt: running, fine mvt condition, fair rotor has been sanded on flat center, removing all plating, very little oxide, mvt will require OH and analysis; dial fine, overall light tarnish powder, microspeckle, faint staining; hands fine, bent, without lume; worn-out head goes beyond substantial wear, with much of the cladding or rolled gold gone, leaving the brass core exposed entirely around the lug tips, would require extreme laser welding to build back; bezel shows medium wear; crown shows little wear, good full turns of threads, the crown and tube perhaps replaced correctly at some point; polished crystal with residue; left finger-tight for auction inspection, seal before wear. Strap ready to tear off. Perhaps the most worn-out case we have ever seen on a Rolex, unfortunate given the rarity of this early Explorer type.
