DESCRIPTION: Clock - E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., for Stark Mills of Manchester, NH by way of the Star Brass Manufacturing Co. of Boston, Mass., "No. 69" style marine clock, round bronze case with mounting flange, 12 inch Arabic numeral silvered dial marked for Stark Mills in red, blued steel spade hands, signed, 8 day brass timepiece with lever platform, movement #5. Truly an insanely impressive clock for the Howard collector, the brass clock collector, or simply for the lover of Manchester, New Hampshire.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic movement condition overall, light tarnish to brass surfaces; restored silvered dial shows hardly any wear; excellent-plus blued steel hands; case shows little wear, mild spotty tarnish in areas, no dents or dings; good glass crystal.

DESCRIPTION: Clock - Chelsea for Ball Watch Company of Cleveland, 14.25 inch brass case with a B&O railroad stamp on the inside of the case, 10 inch silvered dial marked "Ball Watch Company, Cleveland," KW, case s#133729 with a #111 on the dial and bezel, mvt s#121805. A tremendously rare and must-have piece for the Ball Watch Co. collector, B&O railroad collector or for the Chelsea clock collector, truly a sight to behold in person. Included is paperwork detailing that this clock was purchased from the estate of a notable former employee of the B&O railroad.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt overall, light fine scratches to plates; dial has been cleaned in the past with signs of sanding to the surface; fine hands with light oxide showing; case shows light wear, typical dings around the mounting points; good glass crystal.

DESCRIPTION: Clock - Thomas Mercer, St. Albans, England, rare chronometer table clock, fusee drive with spring detent escapement, helical hairspring, and 8-day winding indicator, measures 11.5 inches height x 10.5 inches width, 6 inches depth, wooden case with beveled glass side and top windows, silvered dial of approximately 5.8 inch diameter, KWKS (key not included with this lot), spring detent escapement, free-sprung bi-metallic balance with helical hairspring, spotted pattern gilt damascene mvt, s#1131. A rare and elegant high grade clock.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good winding indicator function, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall in visible portion; excellent dial with mild surface spot right of 11, few additional lesser small spots elsewhere; case shows hardly any wear; good glass crystals.

DESCRIPTION: Clock - Hunt & Roskell rectangular strut clock attributed to Thomas Cole, fire gilt 10-layer screwed together bronze case with hand engraved floral details, fabulous engraved silvered dial with black painted Roman numerals and full rotating calendar at 6, KWKS, lever escapement, s#1203 under the dial, clock measures 4 inches wide x 6 inches to top of upright bow. Cole produced about 300 examples of his rectangular strut clock, these clocks when new were considered as carriage clocks and were celebrated for their distinctive thinness of design.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, light tarnish to plates; nearly flawless dial with very light surface scratches; excellent hands with very light oxide; case shows very light wear, missing the swivel stand at the clocks base, additionally missing several small case screws however this doesn't impede running or the general look, fire gilt finish is strong and vibrant with the rich tones only gold can provide, several light dings on back from handling, winding and setting; excellent chamfered glass panel.
ESTIMATE: $2000 - $4000

DESCRIPTION: Clock - Marked for retailer Shreve Crump & Low, made by C.B. Baillot, Swiss, 8-day minute repeater travel clock, sterling silver original travel case, silvered textured dial with black painted numerals, SW-SS, lever escapement, 15J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#129138, case measures 4 inches x 3.5 inches.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good repeat function and tone aside from sounding a bit "tinny", nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, very light spotting, light oxide to steelwork; fine-plus dial with light surface spotting, light loss of painted details; excellent hands; case shows light wear, even tarnish that could benefit from a light polishing if future owner so chooses, several light dings; crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
ESTIMATE: $800 - $1600

DESCRIPTION: Clock - Carriage clock, with modified English pocket chronometer movement with spring detent escapement and helical hairspring, mvt maker signature is covered by clock's fusee assembly, brass case measures 6 inches height to top of upright handle x 3.25 inches width x 2 inches depth, unsigned silvered dial, KW and set via a stem and crown assembly added to rear, spring detent escapement with capped escape wheel, free-sprung balance with diamond endstone and helical hairspring, gilt mvt, s#2062.
CONDITION: Mvt: NR, fully wound, will tick briefly with a twist, overhaul needed, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, numerous fine to micro-fine scratches, evident marring and sign of modification around area of detent foot attachment indicating likely past repair or replacement of detent; dial with some scattered fine scratches, small surface spotting; fine hands with some areas of oxide and finish loss; case shows light wear, some scattered small dark spots; front glass panel with some scratches, good glass side panels and top panel.
ESTIMATE: $500 - $1000

DESCRIPTION: Clock - Angelus triple calendar clock with alarm and barometer, gilt brass inner case with outer red leather wrapped case, silvered dial with applied gold numerals, day-month apertures inset at dial's center, date subregister at 6, clock measures 101mm x 123mm x 29mm thick, truly a fabulous little desk clock. Includes the original box and manuals.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, mint cosmetic movement condition overall, excellent-plus dial with very light surface spotting; fine-plus hands, hour has lost high majority of its luminous fill which has now scattered in flakes on dial surface; gilt brass case shows no wear, leather case shows hardly any wear. Box shows hardly any wear.
ESTIMATE: $400 - $700
